The Chartreuse National Park is little known outside France. Built in 1830
and typical of Chartreusian stone barns, La Grange is situated in the heart
of the National Park in Les Clarets - one of 52 small rural hamlets in the
area which, historically, were named after the local families working the
alpage. With a log fire; well equipped kitchen and laundry room; video (English);
internet and email facilities, La Grange provides an ideal summer or winter
retreat . Enjoy the stunning scenery, superb summer walking and mountain biking/winter
skiing and other mountain sports. Good restaurants accessible with transport.
Quiet visits to the Chartreusian Monastery and other sites of interest. A
full range of activities can be arranged on request.
